How to remove or replace the jumper?
Content
Over time, lintels (bearing supports) may crack or expand and need to be replaced. This requires the use of support legs to hold the weight over the lintel during its replacement.
Step 1 - Cut with MortarFirst, cut the mortar between the bricks above the lintel. Here you can insert supports with masonry supports. Place the props on the ground, extend them to the desired height and secure by inserting a pin into the collar.
Step 2 - Insert masonry supports and supports.Hammer the back of the masonry support until it is about two-thirds through the masonry. Make sure the supports are fully secured by checking that they are not loose.
