How to remove door trim VW Polo Sedan

Required Tools:

• thin flat blade screwdriver or knife
• bit or special key torx t30

Using the 2013 VW Polo Sedan as an example, below we will consider the main points that you should know when removing the door trim:

1. The first step is to pry the cover of the door closing handle by prying it with a knife or screwdriver
2. Disconnect the connector with wires from the mirror control unit
3. Unscrew the two fastening screws from the top and bottom of the handle
4. We unscrew the screw securing the casing in the lower part - in close proximity to the speaker grid
5. Prying the casing from the bottom, we tear it off the clips of fasteners to the door - it is necessary to apply a medium force to tear it off
6. Having disconnected the remaining connectors from the buttons and blocks, we finally remove the trim from the door
