How to remove the rear bumper on a VAZ 2115
Mounting the rear bumper on VAZ 2115 cars is somewhat different from other cars of a similar class. If we consider the cars of the tenth family, then Samara has many differences in this regard. So, in order to remove the rear bumper of the VAZ 2115, you will need the following tool:
- 13 mm head
- extension
- ratchet handle
- spanner 13 mm
- Phillips screwdriver
Replacing the rear bumper on a VAZ 2115 with your own hands
The first step is to unscrew the screws securing the rear wheel arch liners to the end of the bumper. This is clearly shown on the one hand in the picture below:
We perform the same procedure on the other side of the car. Next, you need to unscrew one fastening nut on each side of the rear bumper - from the inside. This is clearly shown in the photo below, and it is more convenient to get to these nuts using an extension cord and a head.

On the other hand, we do the same. After that, it is necessary to unscrew two more fastening bolts along the central part of the rear bumper of the VAZ 2115. The car's license plate must first be removed.
Of course, from the inside, it is necessary to keep the nuts from turning with an open-end or box wrench. Then you can gently move the bumper to the side, thereby completely removing it from the car.
The wiring from the license plate lights must also be disconnected.
The installation of a new bumper is carried out in the reverse order. If it is exactly a replacement that is needed, then we pre-buy a new one at a price of 3000 rubles and make the installation.
