- Step 1 - Prepare a bench to sit on

- Step 10 - Repeat

Step 1 - Prepare a bench to sit onIt is advisable to have a table or bench so that you can easily get on and off the stilts. | |
Step 2 - Install the heel cupAdjust the heel cup to the correct position for your foot. It should be far enough back that your foot doesn't come forward. | |
Step 3 - Adjust the calf braceAdjust the calf brace. The recommended position is just above the thickest part of the lower leg. | |
Step 4 - Tighten the screwsOnce you have the calf brace in the correct position, tighten the screws to secure it in place. | |
Step 5a - Thread the strap through the binder.To start using the stilts, put the calf brace on your leg and thread the strap through the tie. | |
Step 5b - Ratchet until comfortablePull the binding lever back and ratchet to a comfortable position. | |
Step 6 - Place your foot on your heel cupPress your foot firmly into the heel cup. | |
Step 7 - Pass the strap around the foot.Pass the strap around your foot and through the drawstring. Tighten all the way. | |
Step 8 - Pass the strap around your ankle.Continue with the ankle strap until it is tight. | |
Step 9 - Adjust the ankle springIf your model of stilts has an adjustable ankle spring, adjust the tension so that it offers enough resistance so it doesn't sag. "Pull" is when the two ends of the shock absorber come into contact with each other. The spring must always have enough tension so that these two points never touch. | |
Step 10 - RepeatRepeat steps 2 to 10 for the other stilts. You are now ready to use the stilts! |
