Use of a chisel | |
Step 1 - Use a chisel to loosen the grout line.Use a chisel to loosen the grout in the wall by creating a line down the center of the grout. This is done by sharp hammer blows on the bit along the center line of the cement joint. | |
Step 2 - Cut off the remaining grout with a chiselFinish removing the dot by cutting out the remaining grout with a chisel. | |
When this is done, your wall should resemble the image opposite. You will then need to re-point your wall with the new grout. |
