How to remove pickup from the wall with a chisel?

	The "pointer" (the cement between the bricks on the wall) must be removed when it loosens and begins to fall out. If left for a long time, it may cause the wall to become unstable.
Before you start
	You will need: bit bit Club hammer or gavel
Use of a chisel
	Step 1 - Use a chisel to loosen the grout line. Use a chisel to loosen the grout in the wall by creating a line down the center of the grout. This is done by sharp hammer blows on the bit along the center line of the cement joint.
	Step 2 - Cut off the remaining grout with a chisel Finish removing the dot by cutting out the remaining grout with a chisel.
	When this is done, your wall should resemble the image opposite. You will then need to re-point your wall with the new grout.
