How to care for car paint in summer?
The car is exposed to harmful weather conditions all year round. Everyone knows that frost and rain destroy the thin layer of paint that covers the car body. Unfortunately, many drivers forget about the importance of car care in the summer.
The sun emits ultraviolet rays. They make the polish fade and fade, like a blouse or a newspaper left outside on a sunny day.
Most owners are also familiar with the problem of bird droppings, which irreversibly destroys the paintwork. The latest studies have shown that the damage to the body by contaminated birds is mainly affected by temperature fluctuations, which are greatest in the summer. During the day, car paint softens and expands when exposed to heat. Bird droppings that get on the paintwork dry out, harden and stick to the surface. At night, the varnish hardens unevenly, causing microdamages. They cannot be seen with the naked eye, but the added influence of the weather causes the lacquer to no longer protect the metal underneath.

However, many complex procedures are not required to fix the paint. First of all, it should be remembered that the car must be washed and waxed regularly. Many drivers find car washing a waste of time as it will still be dirty and waxing is too labor intensive. Nothing could be more wrong. A thorough washing of the car body allows you to apply a layer of wax. It is he who provides the best protection from the sun, water and bird droppings.
The wax acts as a shield, reflects the sun's rays before they can penetrate the paint film and loosen the pigment, and helps remove water to keep your car cleaner longer. Dirt does not stick to paintwork as easily.
The protective layer should be applied once every two to four weeks. When applying wax, we protect the varnish and give it shine.
If we have not taken care of the paint in advance, it is not worth buying magic preparations or lotions, thanks to which the car should return its beautiful color. Fading, unfortunately, is a natural result of car operation, some processes cannot be reversed, but only stopped by home methods.
The only way to restore the varnish to its previous state is to use specialized pastes and polishes that remove damage, scratches and discoloration.
