How to care for a hand brake?

In order for the hand brake, called the auxiliary brake, to last long and reliably, it must be used frequently.

The handbrake, called the auxiliary brake, is supposed to effectively stop the vehicle on a slope, but it does not replace the main brake, which is actuated by a foot lever.  

In order for the handbrake to serve for a long time and reliably, it should be used frequently so that its mechanism, levers, axles, cables and jacks often move. In this way, we prevent rusting and sticking of various components.

Always pull the brake lever on the last tooth as far as it will go. Incomplete traction, on the first or second notch, can lead to the fact that you do not notice a lightly applied brake when starting off, and over time we destroy the friction linings.
