Before we start polishing the car, let's take care of its thorough washing. We need to get rid of the dirt on the body. It is best if such washing is carried out at least twice - i.e. replace dirty water with clean water. Even if there was not much pollution, let's try change the water as often as possible, in which we impregnate the sponge so as not to rub the car with particles of dirt and sand. The more thoroughly we wash the paintwork, the better - the point is not to polish the car with the remnants of dirt, but to carry out the entire operation on an absolutely clean paintwork. Polishing products - what to choose?

You will need them for polishing polishing pastes, which must be of high quality - do not buy products of unknown origin, because we can harm our varnish (such pastes have abrasive properties). We'd better turn to trusted products from brands like K2, Sonax or Troton. Their composition is selected in such a way that they are ideal for polishing. We begin to polish the car with slightly abrasive polishes (it is not recommended to use strongly abrasive products immediately). Two polishes are suitable for polishing - one for proper operation and the other for finishing. There are also pastes on the market, which, according to the manufacturer, do not require additional operations - a single polishing will provide a satisfactory shiny structure of the varnish. In addition to polishing pastes we also need a special overlay - depending on the hardness of the paintwork, we have to choose a shoe for our car. Of course, if we are not sure if our varnish is hard or soft, it is safest to assume that it is soft over the entire surface. Owners of cars with a hard shell can afford the so-called "fur" rain (its properties include the rapid abrasion of the polished surface). Suitable for softer surfaces. a pillow made of foam rubber (here they also distinguish between different hardness of foam rubber) and a pillow made of microfiber (probably the safest).

Practice, i.e. polishing the car

Once your vehicle has been thoroughly washed and dried, it's time to start. polishing... Let's wait a bit polishing paste (a very small amount is enough) and get down to business. When working, consider only one element, for example, a car door. Remember, do not overheat the paint - proceed in moderation. If you are not sure, check the warmth of the varnish to the touch. Having completed one element, we will carefully check if there are holograms, shadows and flaws on the paint - let's look from different angles and shine Workshop lamp.
