What do green license plates look like? Here is a photo - the first cars with them are already on the roads
With the kind permission of the Prague-Poludnoe District Office in Warsaw, we received a photo of green license plates that are issued to owners of electric vehicles, and in the future they will also be offered to owners of hydrogen cars. The first cars with such numbers are on the way.
Green numbers for electric vehicles
From January 1, 2020, stickers with the letters "EE" and "H" have been replaced by license plates with black letters and green background... Since hydrogen cars are not yet sold in Poland, we will soon see green license plates, mainly for electric cars.
The official final color of the boards seems to match our model a few months ago perfectly, and we've illustrated how such boards might look. We hit it even though we didn't know yet what the final shade of green would be:

The green background of license plates is not the only distinguishing feature of electric vehicles. She is different too Certification sticker with red frame... As a side note, it is worth adding that the border of the homologation sticker for hydrogen cars will be yellow.

Green license plates are currently appearing in the TV ad for the Skoda CitigoE iV, which indicates the mind of the Polish distributor - bravo! Their color is much thinner than the visualization suggested by Auto Świat.

We recommend that you do not distribute the latter because it is simply confusing - we regret that the journalists of the automotive magazine did not use the Elektrowóz visualization, which has been available for many months.
