How to replace the daytime running light module

Daytime running lights are lights built into the front of late-model cars to make them more visible on the road. Running lights cannot be turned off.

Some vehicles use a dedicated daytime running light module to automatically control the low beam headlights. The module receives data from various sensors and switches, including the ambient light sensor, ignition switch, headlight switch, and parking brake switch. It then uses this information to adjust the low beam headlights as needed. A faulty daytime running light module can cause the low beam headlights to stay on, work erratically, or not work at all.
