To do this, follow the instructions described below, which describe in detail all the nuances of this operation:

1. We moved the front passenger seat all the way back for more comfortable work and opened the glove box for other activities (fig. 2).
2. Having opened the glove compartment, unscrew the four screws under the Torx T20 and carefully begin to remove it (Fig. 2).
3. Having slightly pulled it out of the seat, we turn off the power, which reaches the backlight bulb located on the left side of the box (Fig. 3).
4. So we got to the place behind the glove compartment, where you need to open the housing door (plug), behind which is the filter element. Fastened with three self-tapping screws, under the head 5,5 mm. We take the head and turn it off. When removing the cover, please note that it is additionally secured with plastic latches from the bottom and top (Fig. 4).
5. Now the cabin filter is already visible, it remains to remove it and install a new one, but you can first vacuum the seat with a thin nozzle of a vacuum cleaner (Fig. 5).
6. After replacement, it remains to install the cover in place and check. We also install the glove compartment in its place and assemble in the reverse order.

When installing, pay attention to the arrows indicated on the side of the filter element. They indicate the correct installation position. How to install is written below.

When removing the filter, as a rule, a large amount of debris accumulates on the mat. It is worth vacuuming from the inside and the body of the stove - the dimensions of the slot for the filter make it quite easy to work with a narrow vacuum cleaner nozzle.

Which side to install

In addition to actually replacing the air filter element in the cabin, it is important to install it on the right side. There is a simple notation for this:

• Only one arrow (no inscription) - indicates the direction of air flow.
• The arrow and the inscription UP indicate the top edge of the filter.
• The arrow and the inscription AIR FLOW indicate the direction of the air flow.
• If the flow is from top to bottom, then the extreme edges of the filter should be like this - ////
• If the flow is from bottom to top, then the extreme edges of the filter should be - ////
