In fact, starting the engine at low temperatures is not difficult, but still it is worth using some recommendations:
- If the car has been standing for a long time and the battery has already specifically “frozen”, then you should first warm it up by turning on the high beam for a few seconds. This will help to cheer her up quite a bit, but sometimes this can be enough for a more or less successful launch.
- It is imperative to depress the clutch pedal at low temperatures. Of course, if you have synthetic transmission oil in your gearbox, then you shouldn't worry too much, because it will not be as thick at low temperatures as the same mineral water. But still, it is better to play it safe and depress the clutch pedal, thereby allowing the engine to spin more fun!
- After a successful start, you should smoothly release the clutch pedal when you feel that the engine is already running without a heavy load from the transmission.
