What gas hose accessories are available?

Hose clamps
	Hose clamps, also known as Worm Drive Clamps or Jubilee Clamps, are required to secure low pressure hoses without installed connectors to regulators. They are usually made of stainless steel or galvanized steel and have a screw that you turn to tighten the clamp around the end of the hose. Some clips are perforated through for extra grip. However, for gas hoses, it is better to buy clamps with a smooth inner surface, as they are less likely to dig into the hose.
	Clamps should last for many years and are an important part of installing a regulator, as the hose must fit snugly to avoid leaks. It is worth buying good quality stainless steel clips. Cheap clamps tend to be thinner so they won't last long and are more likely to dig into the hose. Also, the screw heads on cheap metal alloy clips often warp after a few uses.
Hose clamp screwdriver
	A hose clamp screwdriver is a type of screwdriver with a flexible shank, usually made of steel, that is designed to get into hard-to-reach places. At the end of the shaft is a hex head that fits directly over the hose clamp screw, making it easy to tighten without risk of slipping.
Hose to hose connector
	The connector is handy so that you can connect two hoses together if one of them is too short, such as when barbecuing. They are usually made from brass or stainless steel. You put the hose on a notch or pipe, and then secure it with clamps.
Gas Hose Quick Coupling
	The hose quick connector is useful if you want to use the same regulator with different appliances or connect two hoses together. To use the quick connect, you will slide back the knurled (ribbed) sleeve to release the other hose nozzle. They are usually made from brass.
T-connector
	The AT connector is convenient in that you can connect two hoses to one regulator if you are using more than one device. The second device will slow down the flow rate and use up the gas faster, so you will need to keep an eye on the level in the tank.
Hose failure valve
	Hose failure valves are widely used with high pressure appliances such as welding torches and rooftop boilers. If the hose leaks or becomes loose, the valve will shut off the gas supply.
	The back of the valve is attached to the end of the hose with a union nut, and the front has a POL connector that screws into the regulator. You can buy a hose relief valve separately if your unit does not come with one.
