- Excellent results at low temperatures. The internal combustion engine is reliably protected and starting it even in severe frost is easy and fast.
In principle, any synthetic oil with a low viscosity should be such that it does not thicken in the most severe frosts.
- Effective protection of internal combustion engines at high temperatures. Modern cars are increasingly equipped with turbochargers (providing turbocharging), which can significantly improve the performance of the car, but they work at high temperatures. To protect the internal combustion engine in such conditions, it is recommended to use high-quality oil, such as Mobile.

The first blow to self-esteem fell on Castrol, which is considered (and not unreasonably) filled with all kinds of additives (this can be determined by the darkness of the oil). We do not recommend such oil for replacement, since it burns out quickly, which is easy to see if you remove the cylinder head of a car whose diet is exclusively Castrol. But Mobile in this regard is only praised.
If you are a little attentive, you observe the following situation: almost all warranty cars in dealerships are poured with nothing more than Mobile, although in the recommendations it appears in black and white - Castrol.
On the other hand, there are car owners who support Castrol with both hands. Basically, these are residents of the northern regions of Russia, where it is very cold and more attention is paid to starting the engine. So, Castrol in this regard proved to be better than Mobile. In addition, Castrol oils are cheaper than Mobil, and this is sometimes regarded as a clear advantage.
