What is the best hand cream? Check out our test result!

Looking for a good hand cream for autumn and winter? We, too! That's why we've tested seven different formulas to help you choose the one you need.

Cosmetics for the cold season - a separate category of care. The colder it is, the deeper we hide our hands in pockets, gloves and muffs. We are increasingly complaining about hands dried with antibacterial gel, and instead of ordinary soap, we are reaching for the most delicate washing gels. What about hand cream? We do not part with him at every step. Only the constant search for the perfect formula does not always end well for the hand. So check out the seven hand creams we've tested on our own skin, under different conditions, on different hands. Choose something for yourself.

Soothing cream with Yope tea and mint

The information on the packaging is promising - 98% of the ingredients are of natural origin, and the active ingredients are: olive oil and shea butter, green tea extract and mint. A mixture of the last two gives a wonderful aroma, fresh and soft.

Yope Tea Cream formula is light and rich at the same time. It is absorbed quite quickly, it seems that after a few minutes I stop feeling the effect of strong moisturizing, only a pleasant feeling of well-groomed hands remains. Regular use of cosmetics has improved the condition of my ... nails! The skins around and the plate itself look much better, a fact confirmed by my manicurist.

Linden Blossom Soothing Cream, Yope

What is very important in autumn and winter in skin care is the retention of moisture in the skin. According to the information I found on the packaging, Yope Linden Hand Cream should retain this moisture, and the moisturizing effect should therefore last longer.

The composition includes many oils:

  • argan,
  • coconut,
  • with olives.

In addition, we can find here many plant substances: extracts from flax seeds, calendula flowers and chamomile. What is their function? They soothe irritations and accelerate the recovery of the epidermis, which is extremely important in autumn and winter.

The aroma of the cream is very pleasant - sweet and natural. I find myself involuntarily sniffing my hands. The formula is easy to apply, the cream is quickly absorbed and leaves a feeling of hydration. Slightly greasy film does not irritate, after a few minutes I can return to work.

Night Hand Concentrate, Crowd

The concentrated formula of cosmetics should act as "invisible" protective gloves. The first impression is positive, because I smell a pleasant floral scent. Not too strong, so it doesn't interfere or "argue" with my spirits.

Although it is meant to be used only at night, with frequent hand washing and constant disinfection, the cream works even when I apply it in the morning and evening. Absorbs quickly and leaves a delicate film on the skin. Most importantly, it reduces the feeling of tightness, and the hands look better, become smooth and moisturized. In the composition I found:

  • Shea Butter,
  • glycerol,
  • urea derivative,
  • almond oil.

Plus convenient packaging.

Hand cream for dry and chapped skin with sandalwood scent, Yope

I like Yope creams, so an objective assessment will be even more difficult. I start with the smell, breathe it in, close my eyes and smell the distinct scent of sandalwood. An association arises: an autumn morning walk, somewhere high in the mountains. You can feel the hazy, forest-scented air. It's like aromatherapy for me, so I dip my nose into my hands and give myself time to relax.

It's time for new experiences. The cream is quite thick, I need to rub it in and absorb it for a long time, so it will lie well on very dry hands. I feel like my skin is quickly regaining its elasticity, and if so, maybe I'll try massaging my elbows and knees with it. It was a good idea. A large package still does not fit in a small, practical bag. So I leave it at home and put it on my nightstand.

Hand care, Yossi

When I look at the ingredient list, it's impressive:

  • Shea Butter,
  • vitamin B3,
  • apricot kernel oil,
  • rice flour,
  • pomegranate seed oil,
  • vitamin c

I could go on and on for a long time. It would seem that hand cream is a simple formula, but in this case, I am dealing with care rich in natural ingredients.

I reach for a small metal tube. I squeeze out a little light, white content, apply and distribute. The aroma is divine, citrus, but at the same time gentle and natural. The consistency seems to dissolve on the skin and changes: from cream to emulsion, and then to oil. Everything is absorbed pretty quickly, and my hands look like I gave them a peeling and a paraffin mask.

Yes, this is exactly what I expect from a hand cream for autumn and winter. Although it is a treatment, I already know that I will use it every day. After a few minutes of application, I got the impression that after chapping and dryness, there was no trace left. I pinch and stretch my fingers so I always check if I need more cream or not. The comfort is perfect, so I think that 50 ml of cream will last me a long time.

Cream compress for hands and nails, Evelyn

A very colorful and large tube of cream (not every cosmetic bag will fit) hides a Swiss formula with a key ingredient, namely urea at a concentration of 15 percent. This means that it should act as a compress to repair dry and chapped skin.

Will this be my perfect hand cream for fall and winter? When I put on makeup, I smell a pretty strong, fruity-sweet scent. What's next? I rate the consistency as rich but a little hard to spread. A moment after applying the cream, I feel that there is a greasy film on the skin, so I limit the use to three times a day. This is enough, it is a very effective and concentrated formula, so the effect appears quickly and lasts for a long time. Hands are moisturized and smooth.

Rejuvenating Cream - Hand Concentrate, Sisley

The price of this cosmetic product is impressive, so I reach for the package with a trembling hand. Very comfortable, small and pumpy. I apply a thick white emulsion on my hands and I feel a delicate floral aroma. The pleasant and white color in the cream is due to a rather high filter: SPF 30, so the skin receives a protective screen from discoloration and the damaging effects of UV radiation. What's next? I read the ingredients. But the extract of silky albiconia, linder, soy and yeast proteins. Many regenerating, firming and rejuvenating additives. In addition, there is a brightening component here, so I expect the effect of porcelain handles.

I keep testing. The cream is very quickly absorbed, does not leave a greasy film, disappears. I was under the impression that for very dry hands this might not be enough. However, this is exactly what I expect from the cream, because I do not like too rich textures. I use the cream in the morning before leaving the house. After a week, the skin is radiant and smoother. I feel like the formula will work in spring, summer, and fall, but I'll gravitate towards a richer cream during the winter.
