Caravan. How to protect it in the off season

Caravan. How to protect it in the off season Although modern caravans can be used in winter, we rarely take such a step. In addition, few owners can afford to refuel the caravan under the roof. Therefore, they usually “hibernate” in the open air and, unfortunately, deteriorate faster this way.

Caravanning is becoming an increasingly popular way to spend your free time. However, for the sake of cost, however, it is quite expensive. In addition to buying a caravan or motorhome, do you still need to think about what to do with it during the “off season”? The lucky ones who have their own plot, a large garage, a shed or just a piece of land have more opportunities to provide the caravan with “worthy” conditions in autumn and winter. However, most owners exhibit them "in the open air", exposing them to the destructive influence of weather conditions,

Covers

If we cannot provide a trailer with any kind of roof, then a special coating seems to be the best solution. Unfortunately, until recently, such covers could either be made to order, bought in Western Europe, or ordered - mainly in German networks - by mail. And that increased the costs. Covers, depending on the materials from which they are made and the place of purchase, can cost from 500 to even more than 3 PLN! This is a serious barrier.

Quality at a very low price!

Caravan. How to protect it in the off seasonThe well-known manufacturer of car covers, the domestic company Kegel-Błażusiak, has become interested in the caravanning market. This season, the offer includes high-quality Mobile Garage coverage for the caravan. It can be installed on any trailer from 475 to 495 cm long, 200 to 208 cm high and 218 cm wide, so it fits most medium sized trailers on the market.

The coating is waterproof and vapor permeable. It is made from a three-layer Spundbond waterproof vapor-permeable membrane and highly vapor-permeable materials that maintain an almost complete seal while wicking away moisture that accumulates under the coating. Spunbond is a type of non-woven polypropylene fabric with a very wide range of applications, mainly industrial.

The coating protects the entire caravan and its lower part from the harmful effects of the environment and is resistant to UV rays. Thanks to the buckle straps, it fits well and closes securely, so it can be used safely even in strong winds. Interestingly, it is equipped with a zippered flap that allows you to open the caravan door without removing the entire cover.

The Mobile Garage cover costs around PLN 350 and comes with a 30-month manufacturer's warranty.
