Caravans and campers - what, where, for how much?
Whoever has a caravan has probably already started it this season. And who is not, but is planning a "relaxed" vacation, now they are probably wondering: buy or borrow? If buying, what, where and for how much?
Manufacturer
The only domestic manufacturer is the Trailer Plant in Nevyadov. His regular offer includes only smaller trailers like N126, priced between 11 and 19. zloty. Nevyadov also produces more luxurious custom-made models, but much more expensive. The competition of these products is created by trailers of foreign brands.

At the next levels, it is enriched in terms of comfort, the technical equipment of the interior (eg TV installation, CD radio, extractor hood) and the external caravan.

In the markets and in car dealerships you can find many trailers of various brands. They are often well-equipped and maintained, and technically, often refurbished. And so, for example, from large and luxurious ones you can buy a young Adria 520 for about 35 thousand. PLN and for the same 10-year-old, 7-meter and two-axle LMC trailer. For half that price, we get a dozen years of Hobby Prestige 545 or LMC Munsterland. 20-year-old Epheland is only 9 thousand. zł, and a 15-year-old Hobby or Hymer Eriba - less than 15 thousand. zloty. The 10 year old 126nt is 60 percent cheaper. than the new model.

Of course, it is much better to use motorhomes. Unfortunately, such a machine is many times more expensive. 10 years or with a significant mileage, they cost an average of 35 to 80 thousand. zł, and prices for new or almost new, depending on the size and configuration, can reach the amount of 300 thousand. zloty. Those who want it cheaper and have a flair can build a trailer themselves, the main thing is that it meets the standards and successfully passes the technical inspection, as well as build a delivery tin for camping needs. There are a lot of companies and shops that have the necessary elements for embedding, and some of them themselves are involved in the alteration and repair of such cars and sell their own devices.
Path through borrowing
When a trailer or camper is needed for a one-time use, it is cheaper to rent them. Luxury cars are usually rented in Poland by artists for concerts or filming days. You pay from PLN 200 and up per night. Leisure trailer rentals cost an average of PLN 50 per night, depending on equipment and rental. Renting is very common in Germany, where you get trailers in good condition and equipment, insured, but more expensive.
When going on vacation with a motorhome, you need to remember that camping places are also expensive. Separate caravan fee (usually not less than PLN 5 per day, but also 3 times more), at least half of this amount per car, from about PLN 5 and more per person (children may have discounts) and up to PLN 10 for connection to electricity. Prices depend on the location of the campsite, its equipment and the season. You have to calculate that a family of 4 will pay at least PLN 30 per night at the campsite. It is always cheaper than a guest house.
