While EV makers don't use multi-speed transmissions, they appear quite frequently on motorcycles. It will also be installed on the new Kawasaki Kawasaki EV Endeavor electric motorcycle. And that's all we know about him.

Electric Kawasaki: we are waiting, we are still waiting

The big four Japanese motorcycle manufacturers - Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha - signed a cooperation agreement on new electric motorcycles a year ago. It was about replaceable batteries, common to all models, and about the standardization of ports and charging stations. Nothing much has come of it yet, although there are already a few swallows, including an electric version of the Honda PCX.

> JAPAN. Honda introduced the Benly Electric electric scooter model. And something else

Now, Kawasaki has unveiled another swallow - the prototype motorcycle Kawasaki EV Endeavor.

A few teasers suggest the Endeavor is on the move, but it's not a particularly big bike - and the batteries are downright tiny, as if Kawasaki had cell technology with an energy density unprecedented today:

As already mentioned, the motorcycle allows manual (foot) gear shifting. Judging by the video transmissions, there are at least three, since there are two gear changes in the video:

We also learn from the movies that the acceleration will be "maxed out from the start", that the experiments require "engine number 18" and that something will be liquid-cooled because you can see the radiator underneath. There is probably one system that takes care of the thermal comfort of the engine and battery:

Only ten films, the fifth was released in early April. If the manufacturer maintains the current rate of disclosure, the latest video should be shown in September 2020. This would mean that The final version of the motorcycle may be unveiled shortly before the EICMA 2020 motorcycle show.which theoretically should have taken place in early November 2020.

So joke chancethat the Kawasaki EV Endeavor will go on sale in 2021.... Exactly 11 years after American Zero began mass production of electric motorcycles.
