Kawasaki now has a prototype electric motorcycle (photos # 1 and 2) and a diesel-electric hybrid (photo # 3 above). The electrics are not particularly impressive so far, with previous reports showing that the maximum engine power is 20 kW (27 hp), the battery capacity is not given. For fans of the sound of internal combustion engines, of particular interest may be the supercharged, twin-injected H2 engine, which today runs on gasoline but is ultimately designed to burn hydrogen.
