Keeway E-ZI: small city electric scooters at EICMA
Already unveiled last year, the Keeway E-Zi range of electric scooters has returned to EICMA, where it has been replenished with new models that are sometimes well hidden.
According to the characteristics, the manufacturer does not complicate life, since all models of the E-ZI line use motors from the German supplier Bosch, whose power ranges from 1900 to 3000 watts. The batteries are also identical regardless of the version chosen.
Presented as the great novelty of this 2019 edition, the Keeway E-ZI PRO stands out as a new high-end benchmark from the manufacturer. The model is equipped with a grille different from the E-ZI LIGHT and E-ZI PLUS and is powered by a 3 kW Bosch motor providing a top speed of 45 to 60 km / h. Configured to 60V-20Ah, the battery claims 50 km of autonomy. The cost, which can be doubled in the case of purchasing a second package.

Well hidden new items
In the end, what is more interesting about Keeway at EICMA is undoubtedly what the manufacturer did not present. In the online catalog that has been sent to us, the brand offers other models that may soon appear on the European market, including the e-Panarea, the electric equivalent of the 125 of the same name, and the E-ZI Neo range. This kind of electric mini scooter, available in two versions, has a wattage ranging from 1500 to 1800 watts. Unfortunately, we don't know anymore.
And in France?
When it comes to marketing, we remain dissatisfied. If some models in the E-ZI range are indeed available in some European markets for around € 2000, France is still not concerned.
At EICMA, we were able to speak with one of the brand's representatives. He explained to us that the availability of his electricity supply in France depends on the presence of the importer. A case to follow!
