Camping by the Lake - Ideal Sites

Camping by the lake is the perfect place to relax with family or friends. Kayaks and pedalos, swimming areas, sunny beaches - everything is within reach or a short walk from your caravan or campervan. Sounds like a recipe for the perfect vacation. Camping near the lakes is very popular, especially during the summer season. Fortunately, there are many of them in Poland.

How to choose a campsite by the lake?

If you're planning a lake camping vacation, there are a few things to consider. First of all: some places are very popular, crowded and require advance reservations.

Before leaving, it is worth checking whether the available swimming areas are secured. If you enjoy sitting with a fishing rod, you should check to see if this is allowed on the lake in question (fishing is generally prohibited in national parks). Planning water sports? Check for convenient locations and equipment rentals nearby. Are you going camping with children? Choose one that offers activities for children and gently sloping beaches. Always take UV filter cream and a good mosquito and tick repellent with you.

Below we present our list of 10 selected campsites located on lakes in Poland. I don't think we can start this list with any other place than the Land of a Thousand Lakes. We have hundreds of well-equipped campsites in Masuria.
