In 2017, an off-road version of the X-Line was built on the basis of the KIA Rio. The "off-road" characteristics are indicated by plastic protective skirts, wheel arch linings, increased ground clearance, embossed bumpers and other decorative elements. By reducing the trunk in the cabin (identical to the related sedan), there is more free space for rear passengers. On the front of the car, the head optics and radiator grille remained unchanged from the sedan, but the foglights, DRL and bumper geometry are completely different.
