Chinese Audi e-tron stands out for its power and design

A power of 50 quattro will probably not be as high as in Europe (313 hp, 540 Nm)

The FAW-Volkswagen Audi joint venture has begun production of the Audi e-tron electric crossover in China, produced in a limited edition of 50 quattro. There is no official information about this, but photos of the model appeared in the database of certified cars. The 50 quattro's power will probably not be as high as in Europe (313 hp, 540 Nm), but the starting price will be about 20% lower than that of the imported electric car.

The Audi e-tron (pictured) is currently being imported to China, but only with the top version of the 55 quattro (360 hp, 561 Nm), so the prices are very high: 692–800 yuan.

On the left is the 50 quattro version for Europe, on the right is for China. Local media do not see the difference, but both bumpers are noticeably different (similar to the S line package), and the lining on the arches and thresholds of the Chinese are made to match the body color. The imported electronic throne in China also does not have side mirrors with cameras.

So far, there is no sign of an increase in the wheelbase and / or rear overhang (standard sizes: 4901 × 1935 × 1628 mm, between the axles 2928), although Audi has traditionally expanded models for China. The production of Audi e-tron with a circulation of 45-000 units per year was entrusted to a joint venture in Changchun. The company in Foshan will be manufacturing Audi e-tron Sportback coupes. Sales of the local crossover should begin before the end of 50. Clarity will be unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show, which opens September 000th.
