KITT Hoff for sale

There is a traditional warning that actors should never work with children or animals - both have on-screen appeal that allows them to outshine any adult actors in their vicinity.

This should probably apply to some cars as well. And the Knight Industries Two Thousand, KITT, which appeared alongside David Hasselhoff on the popular 1980s TV show Knight Rider, is a good example of how a car can outshine a star.

Based on the 1982 Pontiac Firebird, KITT was the car assistant everyone wanted to ride with. And someone will get a chance to do just that with what belongs to The Hoff. This car never appeared in the show, but was created from a 1986 Firebird by Jennifer Catano, a fan who uses IHeartKITT on Twitter. She introduced the car as a tribute to Hasselhoff, who appeared with it at several promotional events.

It's listed for sale on Julien's Live in the US with a starting bid of $15,000 and an estimated end price of $30,000 to $50,000. What will you get for money? Signature steering wheel, grille and scissor doors, plus an integrated soundbar with over KITT voice clips from the show.

Unfortunately, our friends in Motor Authority noted that there is no Turbo Boost function.
