The glue gun, known in the workshop as a glue gun, is a simple, modern and very useful tool that allows you to use hot melt adhesives to bond various materials. Thanks to new types of adhesives with more and more specialized application possibilities, this method is increasingly replacing conventional mechanical connections. The gun is packaged in a disposable transparent packaging that must be irretrievably destroyed in order to be opened. After unpacking, let's read the instructions for use, because it contains important information that is better known before than after damage. After the YT-82421 is turned on with a small switch, the green LED will light up. Insert the stick of glue into the hole provided for this purpose on the back of the torso. After waiting about four to six minutes, the gun is ready for use. The plastic housing has a mechanism for moving, heating and dispensing glue. The front of the glue stick is placed in a heated container where the glue is heated and dissolved. Do not touch the hot nozzle as this may cause a painful burn. When the trigger is pressed, the mechanism slowly moves the hard part of the stick, which in turn will squeeze out a portion of the melted thick glue through the nozzle. After turning on the tool, the built-in battery lasts for almost an hour of continuous operation. Then the green diode goes out and the battery needs to be charged. This is done using the included small charger. Charging may take approximately three to four hours. We know that the battery is fully charged by the color change of the LED in the charger case.
The gun YT-82421 from YATO, compared to other tools of this type, has a small diameter nozzle and does not leak excessive glue. The heated glue cools down for a short time, during which we still have the opportunity to correct the position of the connected elements in relation to each other. We must have time to set, for example, the necessary perpendicularity of the elements to be glued using an installation square, or even a rectangular pattern. At the very end of gluing, you can form a still warm, but not hot glue with a finger dipped in cold water. However, such an operation requires experience and great intuition. I am warning you here because you can get very painful burns.

Another important tip. The glue flowing out of the nozzle usually stains the workbench or table at which we work. Cured adhesive adheres strongly to the surface and is very difficult to remove. It is a good idea to place a simple sheet of paper or a piece of cardboard under the heater nozzle. When preparing the gun, the nozzle must always point downwards. For this, a special support is used, which opens when a button is pressed in the tool body.
