When can I disable the ASR system?

ASR is a system that prevents the drive wheels from slipping when starting off (some manufacturers refer to it as TCS).

It is standard on some vehicles with powerful engines. Keep the system on when driving on hard surfaces, especially on wet and slippery roads. However, when driving in deep snow in winter or sand, gravel or mud in summer, the ASR system must be disabled. When driving on loose or slippery ground, “wheel slip” is a factor that allows you to move off. The problem is not a lack of driving force on the wheels, but poor traction.
