When the glass breaks

Glass damage is usually in the form of cracks or puncture damage called "eyes".

Our experts can handle most automotive glass damage. However, sometimes they are forced to send the client back with a receipt.

 

The rules introduce some caveats to the repair process. In principle, any disturbances are allowed in zone C of the glass, which covers the area outside the operation of the wipers. In zone B, which is located in the area of ​​the wipers, it is possible to repair damages located no closer than 10 cm from each other. A similar condition applies to zone A, i.e. the glass strip at the level of the driver's eyes. Any repair in this area requires the express consent of the driver and is carried out under his responsibility.  

Glass damage is usually in the form of cracks (more troublesome when regenerated) or pinpoint damage called "eyes". The method of their repair depends on the technique used, of which there are several. Basically, a special resinous mass is used to fill the cavities. It can be hardened, for example, with ultraviolet rays.

Car windshields are repaired. They are laminated and therefore expensive. Therefore, their regeneration, unlike other windows, is beneficial. The price of the service is determined individually, taking into account the scale of the damage. When assessing the cost of repairs, it is not the make of the car that is taken into account, but the type of damage.

The approximate cost of regenerating one damage ranges from 50 to 150 PLN. In case of serious damage, it is recommended to replace the entire glass.
