A compact van, unlike a mini or multivan, is a passenger car with a one-volume body, which is built on the basis of an ordinary compact class car - a sedan or hatchback. Toyota Verso

One of the most popular compact vans. Its release began back in 2009, the last update of the car supplied to the Russian market was in 2016, although the changes only slightly affected the exterior.

Opel Meriva

A compact minivan, which is very popular not only in Russia, but also in the USA, England, Mexico and other countries. True, there it is produced under the name Vauxhall or Chevrolet Meriva.

At the moment, Opel Meriva B, that is, a second generation car, is available in the showrooms of official dealers. The car is designed for 5 seats, body length - 4288 mm. Presented in Russia with three types of 1.4-liter gasoline engines: one atmospheric and two turbocharged. Power: 101, 120 and 140 hp It comes with a manual transmission for 5 or 6 gears, or automatic.

Mercedes-Benz B-Class (W246)

This car is officially considered a hatchback, but its shape is very similar to a compact van, and that is why it is classified as this class of cars. Mercedes-Benz traditionally has high prices. The cost of this compact van in the official salon will be 1,5-2,2 million rubles.

But the car is worth the money. It is supplied to the Russian Federation with diesel and gasoline engines of 1.4, 1.5, 2.1 liters and 109, 122, 150 hp. You can choose complete sets with several types of gearboxes:

Nissan Note

A subcompact van that has been in huge demand since its release in 2004. In Russia, the first generation of this compact van was available, and the second, for some reason, is not sold by dealers. If you want to buy a used Nissan Note, then the most “fresh” cars produced in 2011-2012 will cost 520-650 thousand rubles on the secondary market.

The Seat Altea is a high-capacity hatchback. This is the perfect car for a family of four. Body length - 4280 mm. In Russia, it is not officially represented at the moment. Complete sets of 2011-2012 cost about 630-970 thousand rubles (until 2013).

The car is sold with a large number of power units.

Several transmission types are available:

According to Euro NCAP tests, the car showed excellent results. However, in 2015 it was discontinued.

Pepper Largus Cross

Lada Largus Cross is a domestic copy of the folk car Renault Logan. However, in the cross version, the developers went further. The car is adapted for driving on bad roads due to the rise in ground clearance. This is the ideal vehicle for a family of five or seven.
