Ferrari has unveiled the first teaser of the Purosangue SUV.

The Ferrari Purosangue, Ferrari's first SUV, is on the way and the brand has released a preview image of what the SUV will be like. Although there are not many details, one can see the influence of the current SF90 on the design of the car.

It's no longer a secret that Ferrari is inferior to the all-powerful SUV. The Ferrari Purosangue, the brand's new SUV, is one of the most hyped launches of the decade, for better or worse. But finally, we should see him for the first time in a teaser published by Ferrari himself, without his camouflage.

Unfortunately, it's still incredibly vague. This is the front end of what will become the Ferrari Purosangue, which is slated for a late 2022 premiere date. Of course, there isn't much to say here, but it seems to have influenced its hybrid headlight/character line and body pattern. , plus a front grille that vaguely resembles the gaping maw of the GTC4Lusso, only it's even meaner.

Ferrari aims to offer a true thoroughbred

All one could hope for was a raging Ferrari SUV; The name Purosangue is Italian for Thoroughbred, and obviously the company wants to show that an SUV can still carry a prancing horse with dignity.

Ever since Ferrari went public in 2015 and promised to double its profits this year under Sergio Marchionne, the crossover has been a financial inevitability. It says on the wall: either you adapt to the times and compete, or you leave money on the table, and all companies, even with such a rich history as Ferrari, exist to make money. You know it's serious when a sports car manufacturer like Lotus releases a crossover.

Ferrari adapts to market needs

So while anything beyond the mere existence of the Purosangue is pure speculation, you'd expect to see Ferrari-comparable power figures in the most intimidating package, as well as a lot of talk about what kind of Ferrari it is. Lamborghini and Porsche handled this by making unprecedented amounts from the Cayenne and by extension without damaging the reputation of their sports car brands for what can be done. Time will tell if Ferrari can do it.
