RMK / Verge has introduced a motorcycle with a wheel motor: RMK E2 / Verge TS. 1 Nm of torque!
Finnish company RMK has unveiled an electric motorcycle with a spokeless rear wheel: RMK E2 / Verge TS. It has an 80 kW (109 hp) electric motor and up to 1 Nm of torque, which is difficult to pick up on a two-wheeled vehicle. The price is also difficult to understand.
The base price of a motorcycle associated with the film "Tron: Dziedzictwo" is 24 euros net, that is, the equivalent of PLN 990 thousand net. After adding VAT, we get an amount of more than 106,5 130 zł. The manufacturer has already launched the pre-sale of Verge TS (HERE), in order to get in the queue, you need to make an advance payment of 2 euros (which is equivalent to 000 thousand PLN).

In addition to the engine mounted directly in the wheel, the motorcycle is equipped with a large battery that should allow you to drive 300 kilometers in the city and 200 kilometers on highways (the manufacturer promises). When we say "large" we mean the physical size of the battery - its capacity has not yet been disclosed. The weight of Verge TS is also not reported.
Charging takes place through the CCS socket located on the top of the motorcycle (source), next to the seat. Fifteen minutes at a fast charging station should cover a range of approximately 100 kilometers.
Production of RMK E2 is expected to start in the second quarter of 2020 in Finland.
