The E-203 set of devices was created for cleaning and checking spark plugs, so the device is useful for motorists, because timely diagnostics of car units helps to avoid serious breakdowns in the future. The equipment is suitable for threaded candles - M14x1,25.

Technical specifications

The design of "E-203 Garo" has a stationary type. Power comes from 220 V - can be connected to the network at home. The recommended frequency is 50 Hz, but deviations from +10 to -15% are acceptable.

The power used at startup does not exceed 15 watts. During operation, the pump creates a pressure of 1 MPa (10 kgf/cm2). The product can be continuously used to diagnose spark plugs (hereinafter referred to as SZ) for uninterrupted operation for no more than 30 seconds.

  • select sealing rings according to the dimensions of SZ, place them in the air chamber of the device (seals should be included with the device, if they are not available, you will have to purchase them separately, since installation is impossible without rings);
  • tighten;
  • close the stand valve so that air does not escape from the chamber (the head rotates clockwise - to close, in the opposite direction to open);
  • pressure control is carried out by the handle of the pneumatic distributor (forward and backward movements), the data is displayed on the pressure gauge, which is fixed on the device - if the pressure drops, it is necessary to increase the tightening force of the SZ in the chamber (the optimal indicator is 1,05 ± 0,05 MPa);
  • monitor the data - if there is a rapid decline, then the tightness is broken;
  • start a spark and put the tip on the NW;
  • adjust the pressure (by rotating the valve near the chamber), which is equal to the optimal indicator of the working motor of the car (it is advisable to clarify this information in the vehicle passport);
  • press "CANDLE" and monitor the process of sparking through a special window - if the SZ is working normally, you will notice uninterrupted sparking, and if there is a problem with the insulator in the side mirror, sparking will be visible, through the top glass of a bad candle, the operator will fix interruptions.
If the formation is stable at the desired pressure, then further use of the candle on the car is acceptable. If problems are found, it is necessary to reduce the pressure with a valve, check the indicators and press the "CANDLE" button again.

When the sparks go smoothly, the product can be returned to the car, however, it should be taken into account that the resource will be reduced compared to the initially serviceable version. You should get rid of candles when problems are observed even at reduced pressure - this is a signal that the service life has expired.
