And the State Duma decided to introduce amendments to the recently adopted law, which for many car owners have become just a gift. Now many vehicle owners may not undergo a Technical Inspection of their car at all, but on one condition.

If you regularly undergo servicing at certified service centers, from authorized dealers, that is, you go through all the scheduled maintenance according to the service book, then there is no longer a need for you to undergo an inspection. As the authorities say, there is no need for car owners to re-inspect the car and re-collect money from the population, which already pays a lot of money for passing MOT. For example, in order to pass my friend's inspection, it was necessary to buy new Renault Megan windows. Since he was told that the windows need to be lifted, and he referred to the fact that the window lifters do not work. So I had to buy new ones on his Megan, but they cost a pretty penny.

How the car owners reacted to these amendments is not yet clear, and what will happen to the rates for passing the previous technical inspection is also not clear, it remains only to see the implementation of this law in action.
