Air conditioner. Beware of refueling ... with liquefied gas (video)

Refueling an air conditioner at a professional installation costs at least PLN 150. If a new factor is used in the system, the cost can be even higher. High prices have made some traders realize this.

 “The cost of the new refrigerant was so high that many tried to convert it to R134A. And here again a surprise, because the price is artificially high. For now, traders have been left out as the price of the service is too high, reducing their profits. That's why they started using LPG,” said Adam Klimek of TVN Turbo.

It takes about a liter to fill the air conditioner. Expenses? 2 zł. However, a system filled in this way can be dangerous. The gas is highly flammable. “There is a danger to the user,” says Dariusz Baranowski, an expert in determining the causes of fires.

The LPG climate is also a maintenance challenge. During maintenance or punching of the system, they must empty all its contents. Most machines do not have a gas composition analyzer that can be restored.
