Is this phenomenon a cause for concern?  This is not very alarming, but it proves that the temperature difference between the elements of the system and the ambient temperature is quite large.

The task of the evaporator is to cool the air, which is then fed into the interior of the car. The complex design of the device and the moisture generated during its operation make it particularly susceptible to the deposition of impurities. Therefore, cleaning the evaporator is extremely important - neglecting it will lead to an unpleasant smell coming from the air supply when the air conditioner is turned on. Even worse, with musty smells, we breathe in all sorts of bacteria and fungi that are dangerous to our health.

After turning off the engine, The evaporator is cold, but the A/C refrigerant is no longer circulating in the system and the fan is not getting cold. What does it mean? As a result, the evaporator gets wet quickly.

The evaporator will be dehumidified by the fan if the air conditioner is turned off about 5 minutes before the end of the trip. This should limit the accumulation of moisture and the possible growth of fungi.

What else is worth remembering? Do not blow strong cool air directly on your face, as this may cause a cold. It is much better to place them in the direction of the windshield and side windows, as well as the legs. In addition, the system should be used in moderation - setting an extremely low temperature in 30-degree heat outside is not a good idea, especially if you are going to get out and get in the car a lot. The optimum temperature that will protect us from heatstroke is between 19 and 23 degrees Celsius and should not differ from the temperature outside the car by more than 10 degrees.

The temperature in a car left in the sun can even exceed 60 degrees Celsius. To speed up the cooling of the cabin and unload the air conditioner, before the trip, you should open all the windows in the car and ventilate the interior a little. If we start the route from an inner neighboring street or dirt road, we can leave the windows ajar and drive a few hundred meters at low speed so that a gust of wind will bring in more fresh air.
