DESIGN 2.0

"We cordially invite everyone to the living room," announced a warm female voice throughout the hall, coming from hidden speakers, then the lights blinked softly at us, then, passing through the entire palette of colors, ending in dull red and automatic, slow closing of the blinds. Outside the window, somewhere below, the elements of the summer solstice raged, and here, on the 1348th floor of the apartments of the newest skyscraper in one of the European cities, we felt completely relaxed and safe. There have been rumors of elevators jamming in the morning connecting us to the barely visible ground below... and the large 3D printer that created the structural elements of this amazing building had some disturbing flaws, resulting in inaccurate layering of material, but...

Stop! So far, this is still a description taken from the future, although we already have some elements of this sci-fi puzzle. What would Zeromsky say to this, seeing how the idea of his glass houses developed? Will he be reflected in a plucked pine tree, like one of his famous heroes? Or maybe he would take full advantage of the new opportunities, creating even better works in comfortable conditions? We don't know, but we do know that building 2.0 is fighting on an ever wider front against material and technological constraints so that people can live better, more conveniently and more economically. Man still ... in version 1.0.
