Pilica contract signed

The contract for Pilica has been signed. The second prototype of the anti-aircraft missile and artillery complex ZUR-23-2SP (Jodek-SP) of the PSR-A "Pilica" system is presented. at MSPO this year.

On November 24, in the premises of Zakłady Mechaniczne Tarnów SA, representatives of the Armaments Inspectorate of the Ministry of National Defense and Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa SA, in the presence of the Minister of National Defense Antoni Macierewicz, signed an agreement in the amount of PLN 746 for the provision of the Anti-Aircraft Rocket and Artillery Complex (ZR-A) Pilica .

On behalf of IU, the contract was signed by Colonel Piotr Imanski, Deputy Head of the Weapons Inspectorate of the Ministry of National Defense, and on behalf of the industry, Arkadiusz Sivko, Chairman of the Board of PGZ SA and Adam Lesinski, Member of the Board of PGZ SA; on behalf of ZM Tarnów SA, Chairman of the Board Henryk Labendz and Member of the Board Lukasz Komendera; in addition, PIT-RADWAR SA board members Rafal Kowalczyk and Janusz Wieczorek, as well as PCO SA board member Stanisław Natkanski. Such a long list of signatories reflects the scope of activities in the project on the part of PGZ SA, since in the development of PSR-A Pilica, as well as other Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa companies: PIT-RADWAR SA and PCO SA PIT-RADWAR will be responsible for the supply of six radar stations (on at the current, initial stage of the contract, their type is not specified - there are stations of the Soła or Bystra class; theoretically, these could even be imported radars, although this is unlikely), and PCO will be the supplier of optoelectronic surveillance and tracking heads GSN-1 "Aurora". The actual list of Polish suppliers is much longer and includes, among others: MESKO SA (23mm ammunition and Grom/Piorun rockets), WZŁ No. 2 SA (container and command posts) or Jelcz Sp. z oo (trucks of the Jelcz 442.32 series).
