Corsica: EUR 500 supplement for the purchase of e-bikes
On Saturday 17 September, as part of European Mobility Week, the Territorial Association of Corsica (CTC) launched the Electric Bike Purchase Assistant (VAE).
Wanting to promote an electric bike instead of the private car widely known on Beauty Island, CTC has just formalized the launch of a € 500 bonus for any purchase of an electric bike. For the community, this is a brake release issue associated with the purchase price of electric bicycles, which is much higher than conventional bicycles.

The € 500 one-off aid does not seem to be limited to specific bike price rates as seen in other communities. However, in order to take advantage of it, Corsicans must contact one of the partner bike shops listed on the map below.
300 subsidized bikes in 2016
In 2016, CTC plans to fund around 300 electric bicycles and may receive new funding for 2017.
