Brief test: Toyota Land Cruiser 3.0 D-4D Professional Premium

For the hardworking

Outside? LC as LC; what 'COMPANY ', you cannot (quickly) find out. The face should rest on one of the rear windows and block the outside light with a hand. Inside? Sitting in comfort, right down to the sturdy leather, you won't notice until you look in your rearview mirror. Do you notice in this net.

The network (and everything that the name "Professional" implies) is an internal, i.e. Slovenian work, i.e. the conversion of an official Toyota "light truck" into a Slovenian-compliant truck takes place - geographically - just before delivery to the customer.

Mesh and everything else is first and foremost about compliance, but it also has a nice feature: if you're serious about crafts, you can also carry larger, heavier items, not just bags of jeans and swimsuits, and those heavy items don't must enter the passenger compartment when braking. Transparent. This may cause a headache.

But there are also disadvantages. First, the HRC is no longer seven- five-seater; secondly, the cargo part volume unaltered, and no discussion (apart from some good tools...); and thirdly, the grid (or some other part) in the test LC was always shaking even when it was full and causing annoying noise in some areas of engine speed and speed. But even here, a few tools can help, and even better, take advantage of the terms of the guarantee.

But now it is: because, as already mentioned, the pro does not have a third bench, he is lagging behind. huge hole... But really huge. There is another roll, then some of that plastic, which is more designed to be durable than pleasant to the touch, and the bottom, which is made of non-slip fabric, and two longitudinal grooves that are securely prepared for details. .. connected to it and finally a 220 volt outlet, which can draw almost half an ampere, which means that you can connect anything that does not have more than 100 watts.

Due to the post-processing, the cockpit hasn't changed, which means when viewed from the back, the bench in the second row still folds down, but again (due to the mesh in the back) it is almost completely useless. Due to a few parts removed and added, such a professional is also slightly lighter than the same personal LC, presumably by exactly 70 kilograms.

The best equipment

Obviously, since you service the aforementioned repeaters, you have chosen Premium You could choose not Premium and save about 20 thousand, but please: it is not inferior to your image, and you cannot do without Premium. Since sitting in a Premium profile is imperial, it's almost hard to believe that a real SUV can be a semi-trailer, and more at the same time, and at the same time completely. luxury car.

Such an animal also needs to be climbed quite well, which is why - or because of its size in general - a person respects him if he does not already know how world renown... Inside, while driving and in other places, it is immediately noticeable that it was not the Germans who did it, because if it were, all the buttons would be the same and neatly folded in a row, so that they may be a little scattered, but says nothing, life is never shorter ...

The mechanics are very easy to tame, and the eye delights in huge exterior mirrors such as modern eco-cars have not been around for a long time. They are not suitable for aerodynamic equations.

Still an SUV

Maybe just to refresh my memory: LC is SUV in the full sense of the word and because of its true off-road design of all SUVs, it is probably among the three closest to a tractor, but beware, the closest does not mean that it is driving through a freshly plowed field. Let's stay where the LC should move. For example, along that line two meters wide, which I would not even call a goat path while driving a car. Here LC, as we have already tested and written, is excellent. Off-road games.

Mechanics? None of the objects are on the list of the greatest technological discoveries in space, but they are all human-friendly and very user-friendly. Fairy tale 2,215 tons of heavy animals consumes 100 liters per 130 kilometers per hour, and 11 liters per 100 kilometers per XNUMX kilometers.

Transmission it's clearly automatic, great on the ground, and pretty much the same on the roads. They're still there for the field reducer, differential lock center differential and constant speed control system when descending, adapted to the terrain ESP anything else. In short, a package to which we have not yet found any serious grievances on our planet.

So I say, bless the professionals. I mean a blessing for those who use it and thus continue to make money.

evaluation

  • It can be a little cumbersome in the city, but it also depends on the driver. It has a lot of fun on the roads outside of settlements, off-road, fast on the highway and is definitely one of the top three on the road. And a "light truck".

We praise and reproach

engine, gearbox

field design

Equipment

air conditioning efficiency

rear view mirrors

broad applicability

too weak door retention system (tilt)

too abrupt response from the ESP system on a good basis

cockpit rumble

fixed back space

interior noise - not premium
