Short test: Seat Mii 1.0 (55 kW) EnjoyMii (5 doors)
Mii, though small, says Seat. You feel like you're sitting in one of your big brothers, except there's not much space and much less outer dimensions, okay? For some, especially classically oriented clients, definitely - and some want different things for babies. The latter, of course, have competitors from other brands, but the fact that the Volkswagen recipe works is also evidenced by the fact that it is not Up! No Citigo is no longer a rarity. As in the case of the other pair, Mii pleases with roominess: long-legged people will feel great behind the wheel, and children will not feel bad in the back.
Miracles at such an overall length are certainly not expected, and the fully reclined front seats and the rear knees take up the same amount of space. At first glance, the trunk is small, but only because it has a double bottom, which turns out to be very useful, since there is enough space under the barrier not only (for example) for a computer bag, but also for a bag of water. bottles or plate of beer. The rest of the rear shelf is "manual", so you can forget to lower it and you will know it only by looking in the rearview mirror when you get behind the wheel. Motor? The 75-liter grinder is economical, and its XNUMX horsepower is still powerful enough that the Mii on the highway isn't doomed to run between trucks.
The five-speed gearbox is fast and precise enough to make the Mii feel great in the city. Instruments and radios are the simpler types, but because the dashboard is dominated by Navigon navigation, which works great with car systems, it can not only make hands-free calls, but also play music and view trip computer data. An excellent solution - when it would be reliable. Unfortunately, Navigon constantly lost connection.
Sometimes he complained, but it turned out that everything was fine, but at least half the time the system had to be restarted (which means pressing the power button for ten seconds and waiting even longer for the system to get back on its feet. ). At Up!, where the Garmin unit did, we didn't have these issues. But the overall impression remains positive: the Mii is a good city car, practical because of its five-door body, small enough to have no problems with parking, and powerful enough not to be intimidated by the highway.
