Airfield fire truck AA-5 / 40-50 / 3 (KamAZ-43114) is designed to deliver combat crew, fire-technical weapons (PTV) and a supply of fire extinguishing substances to the place of fire; extinguishing fires with fire extinguishers; supply of water and air-mechanical foam of low and medium multiplicity through pressure hoses, hand barrels, and foam generators, a fire monitor or bumper installation when extinguishing fires; covering the runway with foam during an emergency landing. The car can be used as an independent combat unit with a foaming agent intake from a foam tank or an external tank and water intake from a tank, from a reservoir or from a water supply network.
