Fire truck ATs-5-40 on a high-cross-country chassis (6x6) of the URAL-5557 family, equipped with a fire pump PN-40UV. It can be used as an independent combat unit with a foaming agent intake from a foam tank or an external tank and water intake from a tank, from a reservoir or from a water supply network. A fire pump PN-40UV is installed on the tanker. The pump installation is located in the rear compartment of the body and consists of a fire pump, a piping system and pipe fittings. The pump unit is mounted on a welded frame. The electrical equipment of the tanker consists of the electrical equipment of the chassis and additional electrical equipment. Fire-technical weapons on a tanker are located on the roof of the body and in the compartments.
