Short test: Alfa Romeo Giulia 2.2 JTDm 210 Aut AWD Veloce

In terms of hardware, there is nothing wrong with this Julia. Even in terms of aesthetics. The exterior means "only" differently shaped bumpers from the base, everything else is hidden under the sheet metal. What I liked the most were the special sports seats and of course the more powerful engine paired with the eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Thus, Julia hides the most important part of her characteristics in the name Velos. Of course, it is worth mentioning the excellent handling and road position, the driver and passengers will be less satisfied with the driving comfort due to the 19-inch wheels with a small cross section, but also because the turbodiesel engine is not quite suitable. an example of no noise. In fact, with all the comfort in the driver's seat, like the gear levers on the steering wheel, I'd like something else that you get from Giulia Veloce for an extra €280 - a XNUMX-litre turbocharged petrol engine. XNUMX "horsepower".

The engine is not the last, but still powerful and economical enough.

But, at such a higher base cost, it probably would have ceased to be used normally. It is this motor equipment that matters in terms of economy. Despite the increased power and not quite economical driving, Giulia Veloce showed a relatively economical consumption - on the test an average of 8,1 liters per 100 kilometers, on a standard circle an average of 6,1 liters. Of course, this is much more than the factory standard mixed cycle promises, but - as we all know, this data is a rather outdated method of measurement (maybe even more). Otherwise, it cannot be attributed to its engine, which operates under the most stringent emissions standards that came into force on September 1 this year (and it also does not have additional selective catalytic reduction, which allows you to "save" on topping up AdBlue). Hopefully such a supplement will be available soon, but until then, we can write: Giulia Velos delivers what she promises on behalf of.Short test: Alfa Romeo Giulia 2.2 JTDm 210 Aut AWD Veloce

Price-wise, the Giulia is at the top of the list of competitors, so it will probably also have to make a purchase decision – the sporty heart (Cuore Sportivo).
