Short test: Fiat Doblo 1.6 Multijet 16v Emotion

Space!

It's just an amazing feeling when a person sits in Dobloe. There is room above your head for another floor. True, when designing Doblo, the designers did not set high goals for themselves, since ease of use was a clear advantage, but they tried to decorate the front of the car compared to the previous version.

Of course, most of the attention in such a car is paid to the interior. It is available for backseat passengers via two sliding doors, which are a real balm for parents who put their children in places in narrow parking lots. Those with weaker hands may complain that the door is difficult to open and close.

Due to the short part of the seat, the back bench does not allow for a very luxurious ride and cannot move longitudinally, but it can be folded down and therefore we get huge flat surface, which also "eats" the inflatable sleeping pillow of the two adventurers. Access to the luggage compartment is excellent due to the huge doors. Care should be taken when opening in lower garages as the top edge of the door protrudes quite high. And even when the door needs to be closed, you need to hang quite a bit on the lever.

The interior has been significantly improved over the previous version. There is also plenty of room in the front, and it sits high behind the soft-set and height-adjustable steering wheel. Plastic is better, the lines are cleaner, there are enough boxes. Several competitors outperform Doblo with a variety of ceiling storage systems. This is just the usual storage compartment above the heads of the front passengers.

A weaker diesel is satisfactory

This time we tested a weaker turbo diesel version of the Doblo. When fully loaded or possibly towing a trailer, you would probably think of a more powerful engine, but in most other cases 77 kilowatt motorcycle does a great job. The sovereign six-speed transmission certainly helps him a lot. Fuel consumption? Savings on rural roads will remove just under six liters of fuel from the trip computer, while road pickups consume eight to nine liters per hundred kilometers.

Until the first generations Dobloev only forcibly modified delivery vans, but now he is moving further and further away from his ancestry. It is important that it retains the most important thing - spaciousness.
