Short test: Ford Fiesta Vignale

But is it enough for a small carmaker to simply squeeze in expensive materials and a lot of equipment, or should such a car offer more? Judging by history, the second option is more correct.

Ford was clearly aware of this. The Fiesta Vignale is indeed the most prestigious Fiesta as well, but it is more than just a well-equipped Fiesta. If you only want the latter, select the Titanium hardware and add a bunch of accessories from the list of optional equipment. Simple.

But the Fiesta Vignale was not created for this role, it has a different purpose: it is the smallest member of the Vignale family, which Ford offered to those who want a slightly different, more premium philosophy from a car - there are none from separate shopping areas (in our country) yet) to the comfort of the owner more friendly after-sales activities. Of course, they're more important to the Fiesta's larger cousins (the Vignale lineup includes the Mondeo, Kugo, S-Max and Edge in addition to the Fiesta), but the Fiesta Vignale shouldn't be missing from the offer as it's easy to imagine (maybe , not here, but definitely abroad) of the owner Edge Viñale, who chooses this car for the second car in the family.

And how is she different from the less prestigious sisters? The bumpers are different (which together with the matte material of the mask work more smoothly), the panoramic roof window is standard, the seats are leather (and quilted with a hexagonal pattern typical of Vignale), the dashboard is soft and made of a material very similar to genuine leather (with standing seams). It's these details, along with the light coming through the skylight, that make the Fiesta Vignale's interior a class above the rest of the Fiesta.

It's the same with the equipment: radar cruise control, automatic headlights, a reversing camera, heated seats and steering wheel, the Sync3 infotainment system is excellent, the B&O sound system is also ...

So there's no shortage of comfort even with the chassis (despite the low-cut 17-inch tires). It's a pity that Ford didn't add more parts to the Fiesta's "Vignalization" (and added more of the above to standard equipment, so almost all of the parts listed - Sync3 is standard - have to be paid extra), as the materials here and there clearly remind that the Fiesta is A Vignale is still a Fiesta (like the doors passed in front of the front passenger).

Drive technology? This famous and this Fiesta is painted on the skin. It's a shame the automatic transmission is only available with the weakest engine, but not in this more heavily motorized version, as this could be the last step Ford believes will put the Fiesta Vignale in its place.
