Short test: KIA Cee´d 1.4 CVVT Style
The first generation Kio Cee'd, produced since 2007, has been chosen by 633.000 buyers worldwide. In Slovenia, Kia also caused a real car earthquake with the Cee'd model, especially with the sports model Pro_Cee'd. It is clear that in addition to the pleasant form, this was facilitated by a very favorable price, perhaps someone was convinced by the long guarantee.
Now Kia is entering the customer battle with a completely redesigned model. German designer Peter Schreier once again took care of the styling, but the 50mm longer car is no longer as cheap, especially if equipped with EX Style equipment, even when paired with the base 1,4-liter petrol engine (test car). ...
In addition, 100 "horses" can be heard or read a lot, but when the car weighs almost 1,3 tons, they quickly swell, and even more so if there are more passengers and / or excess luggage in it. As a result, gas mileage is much higher. But not everything is so pessimistic. The new Cee'd is nothing but Korean interior, good driver and passenger seats, a steering wheel, and an undemanding, above-average drivetrain that deserves praise. The chassis is also quite decent, which is also convenient for the whole family due to only 16-inch wheels.
