The e-tron crossover received a high score for safety

Another relatively new model on the market, Audi's electric crossover, has been tested for safety. The test was conducted by the American Institute of Third Party Insurance (IIHS), the results of which were officially announced.

The German crossover gets the maximum result in the Top Safety Pick + test series this year. During testing, the model under test shall receive a score of at least "good" during the 6-zone hull strength test. Tests were carried out in various types of frontal impact (including moose test), side impact, overturn, as well as the strength of seats and head restraints.

The Audi electric car has been successfully tested. The model received a “good” mark for the LED headlights by Matrix Design. The emergency brake performance was rated “Excellent”. This technology is able to recognize a pedestrian or a cyclist, even if the car is moving at speeds up to 85 km / h. The system is able to recognize another vehicle at a maximum of 250 km / h.

Audi was quick to boast that it was another model that received high marks in vehicle safety tests. Last year also brought the e-tron top marks to the new Audi A6, A6 Allroad.
