Crossovers «Toyota»

For many automakers, Toyota crossovers are literally a role model, because it was from them that the SUV segment was “born”.

The entire model range of crossovers of the Toyota brand (new models of 2022-2023).

First of all, the brand's SUVs are classic Japanese quality, "packed" in an attractive "shell" and filled with modern technologies.

The first such car in the ranks of Toyota appeared in 1994 (model "RAV4"), becoming a milestone in the development of the global automotive industry - it is believed that it was with him that the "class of crossovers" began.

The corporation became the first automaker in world history to produce more than 10 million vehicles in one year (in 2013). The name "Toyota" comes from the old name of this company "Toyoda Automatic Loom Works", but the letter "D" has been changed to "T" for easier pronunciation. Toyoda Automatic Loom Works was founded in 1926, originally based on the production of automatic looms. In 2012, this automaker passed the mark of 200 million cars produced. The company achieved this result in 76 years and 11 months. In 1957, the company began to export cars to the United States, and in 1962 began to conquer the European market. The Corolla model is one of the most massive cars in the history of the automotive industry: over 48 million copies have been produced in 40 years. The company's first passenger car was called the A1. Unfortunately, none of these cars "survived" to this day. Toyota holds the Nürburgring speed record...but for hybrid cars it was set by the Prius in July 2014. In 1989, the modern brand logo appeared - three intersecting ovals, each of which has a specific meaning. In May 2009, the company ended the financial year with a loss. Interestingly, this has not happened to this Japanese automaker since the distant 1950s.
