Motorcycle cruise control
Riding a motorcycle for long distances strains riders' wrists and can lead to excruciating pain and cramps in the arms. It is for this reason that motorcycle cruise control is becoming more and more popular.
For many motorcyclists, winter is the time to service and prepare the car for the next season. When conducting a winter inspection of a motorcycle, it is worth considering equipping it with motorcycle accessories that will allow you to travel in an enjoyable and safe time of the year.
Surely every motorcyclist who has been on a long route at least once lacked something that would unload his hands without releasing the steering wheel and without stopping the movement. This is possible thanks to the pace of the mat, which allows you to hold the throttle in one position without squeezing your hand or mechanically blocking it.
Cruise control is available in four versions - as a universal palm rest or more advanced, in which the lock is clamped and released with the thumb, or closed with the thumb and released by the brake lever.
One of the manufacturers of motorcycle cruise control is the American Kuryakyn, whose accessories are brought to Poland by Lidor. Even the simplest wrist rests allow you to control the throttle without having to keep your hand on the lever all the time. Simply screw the cruise control onto an ISO-GRIP throttle (bands and flames) or Transformer, or slide the universal option onto either end of the handle and rest your open palm on it. These models are available both in a version designed for Kuryakin shifters, chopper, cruiser and Gold Wing motorcycles, as well as in a universal version that fits all motorcycles.
Other, more technically advanced Kuryakyn cruise control models no longer require constant hand contact with the steering wheel. They are attached to the steering wheel and gear lever and require only a thumb movement to release or lock them. In turn, the most extensive version of BrakeAway cruise control allows you to lock the throttle with your thumb, and release it with the brake lever.
