Lamborghini DIABLO VT - the Italian devil

Diablo it is still a rare and exciting sight. One glance at the masterpiece by Marcello Gandini is enough to be sure that this car is indeed moving at speeds in excess of 300 km / h.

Dual radiators at the back

Two coolers are required to cool a 12-cylinder engine. They are installed at the rear of the engine compartment and have a large fan.

No spare wheel

There is not even room for a temporary spare tire. Explanation of Lamborghini? A Diablo driver is not in the habit of changing a wheel on the side of the road.

Front door hinge

As before in the Countach, the Diablo door hangs on a single hinge and opens forward and upward, with each wing supported by a pneumatic telescope.

Side oil coolers

Diffusers at the bottom of the door panels direct air to two oil coolers mounted directly in front of the rear wheels.

Larger rear wheels

Diablo needs to have wide and large wheels in order to transfer its power to the surface. The 1991 model was fitted with large, low-profile Pirelli P Zero 335/35 ZR17 tires on split 13 "x 17" alloy wheels.

Poor rear visibility

As with most mid-engined cars, Diablo has severely limited rearward visibility through a small window.
