Lamborghini Squadra Corse: new hypercar in 2020 – Sports Cars

Powered by a 12-horsepower V830 engine, it will be produced in a limited edition and approved for tracks only.

In 2020, the department Racing team Lamborghini will present a new unprecedented hypercar... This was announced by the Emilian company itself on the occasion, this weekend, World Finals in Jerez de la Frontera.

The most significant expectation of this Casa del Toro project concerns, above all, mechanics. In fact, it will be powered by the legendary Lamborghini twelve-cylinder, pushed to its maximum power. 830 CV... The 6,5-liter car will be joined by Xtrac transmission six-step sequential.

Structurally new hypercar Lamborghini Squadra Corse it will be built around a carbon fiber monocoque with an aluminum front frame. The suspensions will have levers directly connected to the gearbox to dramatically increase the torsional rigidity of the car, and another important new feature will be equipped with a mechanical differential that will allow the driver to dynamically adjust the preload.

The first tester released also shows the first aesthetic details new hypercar from Lamborghini which we'll see in a limited edition next year. It will feature a large rear wing, a rooftop air dome and a dual-intake front hood.
